so we decided to advise for a total transformation.

The existing building was placed on a ridge of bare rock, falling in three directions. This complex topography, geological condition that coincide with an existing house leaves as minimal space for intervention. These difficulties were solved by keeping the existing foundations together with most of the exterior walls, transforming them to internal walls. There is added to new volumes to the existing and a new roof structure is added. The building volume is cantilevering in three directions form the existing foundations – balanced, without symmetry, where each facade is different with continuity around the building.
