The densest single family house project we have ever done.
The densest single family house project we have ever done. With a site of 450m2 and a maximum footprint of 100m2 including two parking places, and demand for 250 m2 usable outdoor spaces not including the driveway. And to make it even more dense, the client wanted a small apartment as well to make the budget meet.
This resulted in a building with a semi exposed basement and a ground floor with cutaway for the parking of two cars. Leaving only close to half of the ground floor to liveable space, where the first-floor cantilevers over the parking area utilising the space over as inhabitable space.
